Licensed in both New York and Miami, Robert works on the Wands team alongside his brother Christopher, who is a highly regarded and top-performing agent for Douglas Elliman in his own right. Originally from Port Washington, New York, Robert Wands is a fourth-generation real estate professional, who developed a passion for real estate through his mother Dawn Wands, who is a top producing agent on Long Island for Douglas Elliman. Robert is a graduate of Hobart College, where he was recruited to the Division 1 sailing team. He majored in History and International Relations with a focus on International Trade. Prior to earning his real estate license, Robert worked in tech sales in software development, functioning alongside the application development team and as a liaison between the software developers and their clients. Outside of real estate, Robert founded his own software development company and enjoys investing, sailing, fishing, scuba diving, gaming, and expanding his knowledge of film and history.
